Justin Tuck has a lot to prove in 2013

During the New York Giants end of season press conference this past Monday, general manager Jerry Reese stated that defensive end Justin Tuck has plenty of football left in him.

There’s been some speculation that the Giants may end up cutting Tuck this offseason, because of how poorly he’s played over the past couple of seasons.  It looks like he’ll be sticking around for next season so he can prove himself to the Giants’ front office.

With Tuck slated to make $4.5 million in 2013, which is the final year of his current deal, it makes sense for the Giants to keep him around and see if he can prove that he deserves a new contract.

I’m quite certain if Tuck doesn’t put up a double-digit sack season in 2013 (barring injury), he’ll likely be gone in 2014.

He is a liability on the field.. and he does NOT deserve 4.5 Million dollars .. if he wants to stay he should restructure and get 2 million. he should also loose his Captain status
