Justin Blackmon mentally behind with the Jaguars offense
Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski says that rookie receiver Justin Blackmon still has some catching up to do on the mental aspect of the Jags’ playbook, since he missed so much time during training camp.
“He’s really like in his first week of training camp. He’s got the tired legs,” Bratkowski said, via Vito Stellino of the Florida Times-Union. “He’s way behind mentally because of all the meetings he’s missed. It’s a struggle for him at this point, physically and mentally, but he has to fight through it.”
The Jags need Blackmon to catch up and be the difference maker this season that they drafted him to be.
