Former Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones will have surgery on Saturday to have a screw placed in his foot to repair a stress fracture.
The stress fracture was discovered in an MRI taken before the NFL Scouting Combine.
The healing time for Jones’ surgery will be six to eight weeks.
Because of the surgery, Jones will miss Alabama’s pro day next Wednesday.
The good news is that Jones did such an outstanding job at the combine, he won’t need to participate in Alabama’s pro day. His draft stock is as high as it will get.
Jones will more then likely get picked between the 10th and 15th picks.Follow PFZ on Twitter @ProFootballZone
