After meet with both the Raiders and the Jets, free agent wide receiver/kick returner Josh Cribbs will meet with the Giants on Thursday, according to the New York Daily News
Cribbs, who’ll turn 30 next month, is expected at the Giants’ practice facility on Thursday, an NFL source confirmed, so the Giants can work him out and examine his surgically repaired knee. Cribbs, who has spent his entire eight-year career with the Cleveland Browns, appeared set to sign with the Arizona Cardinals back in March, but he reportedly failed their physical because of a still torn meniscus.
No one knows how interested the Giants are in Cribbs, but they could use another kick returner. Now that David Wilson will get move touches on offense, I don’t think they’;re going to have him returning kicks in 2013.
