We passed along the story yesterday that San Diego Chargers’ linebacker Jonas Mouton had to be carted-off the field with an unknown injury on the first day of training camp.
While the injury is still unknown, it sounds like the injury is bad.
#Chargers won't have definitive word on severity of LB Jonas Mouton's apparent knee injury until tomorrow, but it's not sounding good.

Mouton was surprisingly taken in the second round in 2010 by former Chargers general manager AJ Smith. The keyword there is ‘former’ and taking a player a couple rounds before he was expected to be drafted is part of the reason why.
Mouton was already expected to be on the roster bubble. Not being able to play due to injury won’t help his chances at making the Chargers 53-man roster come the end of August.
