Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel believes that running back John kuhn is on the Packers’ roster bubble.
Do the Packers still need the soon-to-be 31-year-old Kuhn ($1.8 million base salary)? Not if they think Mulligan can replace him as the lead blocker in their infrequent two-back sets and one of the backs can safeguard Rodgers on passing downs.
The NFL is all about money, age and production and all three go against a player like Kuhn.
Kuhn has been valuable at times for the Packers, but it’s not worth it for them to pay him $1.8 million at his age.
