John Harbaugh says he never dreamed of playing his brother in the Super Bowl

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told the media that he never dreamed of being about to face off against his brother in the Super Bowl.

“I don’t know if we had a dream this big,” Harbaugh said. “We had a few dreams, we had a few fights. We had a few arguments. We will try to stay out of that business. We’ll let the two teams duke it out as much as possible.”

Harbaugh was asked if would be able to stand two weeks of Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh hype.

“You know what? I agree with you,” Harbaugh said, drawing laughs. “Let’s just cut that right now, you know what I mean? Can we all agree? Let’s just forget about that. We did that last year. It was fine. It got old last year, right? Did it not?”

The Ravens and Niners met during the 2011 season, a 16-6 Baltimore win on Thanksgiving night.

“I’d like to think that our two teams are very similar,” he said. “I’d like to think that when you look at those two teams, you’re looking at mirror images of two football teams. It’s going to be a great football game.”

Both John and Jim Harbaugh are two of the best coaches in the NFL.  Super Bowl XLVII is going to be a great one.
