Today was Peyton Manning’s first “practice” with his new teammates and coaches, since joining the Denver Broncos, now that OTA’s have officially taken off.
Broncos head coach John Fox said that he’s really encouraged by Manning’s progress, per the Denver Post.
“He’s getting better every day. His progress has been outstanding. We’re excited where he is. I think he’s pretty good right now, and we think he’ll get better. He definitely raises all boats, that’s for sure. That’s not just with the young players, but with the veterans.”
From the video I saw of Manning throwing, he was very impressive with his short and intermediate throws. The Broncos didn’t have him make any deep throws, since they’re still likely bringing him along slowly.Follow PFZ on Twitter @ProFootballZone
