Joe Banner says the Browns will evaluate Brandon Weeden

According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer,  new Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and CEO Joe Banner plan on plan on evaluating rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden over the final seven weeks of the season.

“He acknowledged that he and Haslam have seven more games to determine if Brandon Weeden is their quarterback of the future, especially considering that the Browns might be drafting high. He said they’ll rely on the experts already in the building to help make that determination,” wrote Cabot.

It would be interesting if the Browns ended up moving on from Weeden and drafted a new quarterback next April.
