Browns owner Jimmy Haslam owns a minor league baseball team in Tennessee. It turns out that he’s now looking to get out of the baseball business.
Haslam said that he’s spending too much time in Cleveland to worry about the Tennessee Smokies, a Double-A club.
“It does have something to do with Cleveland in that we’re obviously going to be spending more time there. But I think the reality is the entire partnership group had owned the team for 12 years and felt like it was time for new ownership.”
