San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh was asked about trying to prepare for three potential opponents, since they’re the NFC’s number two seed and have a bye this week.
“It’s more the Saints,” Harbaugh said. “The greater share (of the prep) is for the Saints.”
Harbaugh is likely more worried about the Saints, since they already took care of the Lions earlier in the season and aren’t as worried about playing them. He also probably doesn’t believe the Lions will even beat the Saints this week.
“That’s pretty ignorant,” Lions center Dominic Raiola said. “The guy is outspoken. He’s a young, energetic guy and that’s fine. That’s his opinion and he’s entitled to his opinion. We will see if we can’t change that.”
Raiola has a right to be upset about Harbaugh’s comments, but let’s be honest, the Lions haven’t exactly dominated any elite NFL teams this season. The only playoff team they defeated in the regular season was the Broncos who are 8-8 and backed into the postseason.

Who cares what the Lions players and co aches think about coach Harbaugh? The game is played for 60 minutes on grass not lip service? If you think 49ers players are not going to bring it your kidding yourself!
Maybe he’s trying to fire up Detroit to beat NO.
that tells me harbaugh knows his football
