Jets don’t sound like they’re going to give Darrelle Revis a new deal

On Wednesday, ESPN’s John Clayton (via Evan Silva) reported on NFL Live that New York Jets general manager Mike Tannanbaum has “no appetite whatsoever” to work out a new contract with cornerback Darrelle Revis.

I understand that Revis has two years left on his current deal, but he’s worth a lot more than what he’s scheduled to make over these next two seasons.

The Jets need to suck it up and lock Revis up to a six-year deal that will help him finish his career with them.
