Jets don't plan on giving Dustin Keller an extension now

According to Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com, the New York Jets don’t plan on giving tight end Dustin Keller a new contract any time soon.  They would rather wait until his contract expires at the end of the season before they make any moves.

The Jets really want to see how Keller will fit into new offensive coordinator Tony Sparano’s new offense before they make a long-term committment to him.

The good news for the Jets is that Keller isn’t complaining about not getting a new contract yet.
