After all the attention that Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones received after last week’s game against the Giants when a man sitting behind him cleaned off his glasses for him, it looks like he’ll now make a profit off the situation.
The man who was cleaning Jones’ glasses was his son-in-law Shy Anderson who will now look to profit from the situation.
After days of ribbing about the incident, Shy may get the last laugh with a new product that will soon be offered in the Cowboys’ online store. He has designed and ordered eyeglass-cleaning cloths with the words “Jerry Wipes” printed on them.
“They can also be used for spontaneous shoe shining, if necessary,” said Anderson.
“Absolutely,” he said. “It started out as a joke, but let’s see how far we can take it.”
I’m not surprised at all that someone within Jones’ family is looking to make a profit off of something as silly as this.
