Jerry Jones says it’s ridiculous to think about releasing Felix Jones

With an unimpressive preseason so far, Dallas Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones was asked if Felix Jones is in danger of being released.

“That’s a ridiculous thought,” Jerry Jones said on KRLD-FM Tuesday morning via Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com. “I’m not worried about him at all. From what I’ve seen out there, he’s got a chance to have a big year for us.”

Jones is still a good back even though he’s been prone to injury.  It wouldn’t make sense to dump him now.
