Even though Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant has missed the past four days of practice with a hip/quad injury, owner Jerry Jones believes he’ll play in this Sunday’s Hall of Fame game.
“He can take it easy right now,” Jones said, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “We got a lot of days left. He is likely to get snaps … very likely. There has been no talk of him not getting snaps. It’s not a hip. It’s just a tweak. He could be out there in a minute. We are just resting it. There has not been a word of him not playing.”
I would have Bryant sit out. There’s no reason to have him play in an extra preseason game if he’s injured.
