According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was asked at this week’s Senior Bowl about the success of the New York Giants and he claimed that the difference between them and the Giants is Eli Manning.
All I can say is that I hope Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo doesn’t read or watch the news, because that won’t feel good coming from your boss. Jones’ words are certainly not a vote of confidence for his franchise quarterback.
Watkins also mentioned that Jones did praise Romo as well, which only makes sense since he did just essentially say Romo’s not as a good as Eli.

I love this guy he is a moron LOL.
You dont publicly say the other QB is better than yours even when we all know ELI is the MAN!!!!!
The start of a dynasty Eli Cruz Nicks Tuck JPP OSi
Once you can give equal opportunities then you can compare but not until then. Every QB I have seen struggle when the offensive line is off even Brady who is being called possibly the best QB ever struggles and shows frustration when his line is off and is brought to the ground too many times. I agree that if the owner who himself has been critized for not allowing his coaching staff to do their job and is always on the defensive for his actions should know better. It seems he has just placed even more emphazised on the need for his taking a step back to help build his coaching staff and team’s confidence on self/abilities.
Jerry is a J**k A**, Romo may not be as good as Eli, but Jerry is a control freak that wishes he could be GM, Owner, Coach and every other power postition in the Cowboys Organization. How can players have a loyalty to each other when the owner publicly throws the QB, under the bus. Wish we could get rid of the owner!!!
HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!
