According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com, owner Jerry Jones indicated that there will be new faces in the Cowboys secondary in 2012.
The Cowboys have been in need of a makeover to their secondary for at least the past four years. The only starter that I would retain if I was Jones, would be Mike Jenkins. Everyone else in my opinion, can take a walk.
They need major upgrades in order to compete with teams like the Eagles and Giants in the NFC East alone.
In order to strengthen their secondary during the offseason, the Cowboys will need to utilize free agency and the draft.
