It seems like not that long ago Packers tight end Jermichael Finley didn’t get along with Aaron Rodgers.
Now Finley is praising Rodgers.
“We were more friends off the field,” Finley said. “We communicated well off the field, we spoke to each other every day in the locker room, and that was some of the things we normally didn’t do. He’s my buddy and one of the guys I look up to and hopefully I get to play with him for the next several years. . . .
“[H]e’s an icon, man,” Finley added. “If you get his approval or anyone’s approval like that you get comfortable, and he made me feel comfortable this year and I appreciate him for that and we just detailed every aspect of our friendship.”
Finley continued, “I say he’s the best, not because I play with him or whatnot, he’s just the best quarterback in the league and to ever play the game to tell you the truth,” Finley said of Rodgers.
Too bad with free agency looming, Finley may not be back with the Packers.
