According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley sat out of practice on Friday after sustaining a mild concussion on Thursday.
“Packers tight end Jermichael Finley sat out practice with a mild concussion suffered Thursday, Mike McCarthy said. Even though it’s mild, the concussion protocol goes into play and that means Finley will be out several days at a minimum. In his absence, D.J. Williams has been outstanding. “He’s had two really good days of practice,” McCarthy said. Williams came in with a reputation as a fine receiver, but didn’t see much playing time last year. That could change,” reported Silverstein.
