After going through an extremely difficult offseason wondering whether or not he has cancer, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin’s tests have all come back negative.
According to the Eagles head athletic trainer, Maclin will start running and weight lifting right away, but won’t get on the field to practice for another 7-10 days.
It was confirmed that all of Maclin’s cancer tests came back negative and that he had some sort of Virus that they still haven’t identified. Right now his symptoms have gone away. They don’t believe the virus is life threatening. Maclin had minor surgery last week to check his lymph nodes.
Obviously the best news of this whole situation is that Maclin doesn’t have cancer. The other good news is that the Eagles expect him to be ready for their season opener against the St. Louis Rams.
