Dallas Cowboys nose tackle Jay Ratliff has sat out the entire offseason after suffering a  torn plantar fascia at the beginning of the Cowboys’ offseason program.

“I’ve just been rehabbing, even now,” Ratliff said Tuesday, per DallasCowboys.com. “Just getting treatment and getting right, getting ready for the season.”

So far Ratliff and the Cowboys medical staff believe he should be good to go when training camp opens up on July 30th.

Ratliff doesn’t believe his foot injury will hold him back in any way this season.

“There’s really no sweat on my brow,” Ratliff said. “My responsibility is just to communicate with my trainers, communicate with the coaches, let everybody know what’s going on, keep everybody aware, and do my job. There’s no complaints, there’s no excuses, there’s no anything … In spite of the circumstances, I’m going to do my job: Win the fight.”
