According to Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Dolphins linebacker Jason Taylor announced on Wednesday that he’ll be retiring after Sunday’s game against the Jets.
“Sunday is my last game. I’m going to go ahead and walk away, hopefully healthy,” said Taylor, who has contributed 19 tackles and seven sacks in his role as a pass rushing specialist for the Dolphin. “If there’s one regret that I have it’s that I didn’t have a chance to bring a championship to Miami.”
Taylor will more then likely be headed to Canton, Ohio to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the near future. He’s currrently sixth all time in NFL history with 139.5 total sacks in his career.
