James Jones still believes the Packers can have three 1,000 yard receivers

Packers wide receiver James Jones was asked by the Green Bay Press-Gazette if he still believes they can have three receivers finish with 1,000 yards this coming season.

“I do, I do,” said Jones, even though not one Packer receiver hit the 1,000 yard mark in 2012.

Jones says they have a chance to step up with Donald Driver and Greg Jennings gone.

“It’s exciting and we’re all excited because we know the departure of Greg and Donald means more opportunities for us. Do you want to lose guys like that? No, but it gives us the chance to step up.”

There’s no way any team will ever have three receivers gain over 1,000 yards in a single season unless they expand it to 20 games.

The Packets better win it this year, Jones is in the lat year of his contract and is going to want to get paid.

Is this a joke? 3 receivers +1000 yards has happened several times, and I’m pretty sure they never played a 20 game season! Rodgers has 4000+ yards to go around, why not???
