According to John Harris of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Steelers linebacker James Harrison is willing to restructure his contract, but not take a pay cut.
While the Steelers really can’t afford to pay Harrison the $6.57 million he’s scheduled to make in 2013, they lack the necessary depth to replace him.
With Harrison being 35 years-old I can’t imagine the Steelers keeping him around if he’s unwilling to take a pay cut. He could always end up with the Browns who have a ton of cap room to play with this offseason.
