With both running back Jamaal Charles and safety Eric Berry recovering from ACL surgery, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel indicated that they’re hoping both players will be cleared in time for training camp.
“We’re going to do everything we can to get them as healthy as they can get before we put them back out there,” Crennel said.
“They’re still rehabbing. They seem to be making progress, but they’re just not on the field with us yet.
“They’re involved with practice. They’re keeping up with the calls, they’re talking to the guys on the sideline about the plays and what to expect, so all of that is good.”
