According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, three teams to monitor when it comes to possibly trading for quarterback Tim Tebow, are the Jacksonville Jaguars, Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers.
The Jaguars make sense for Tebow because they need a big spark that would help ticket sales and let’s face it, even though they drafted Blaine Gabbert in the first round of last years draft, they could use a winner like Tebow.
I don’t see a reason for the Packers and 49ers to pursue Tebow, both offenses don’t need a distraction like Tebowmania. The Packers offense is one of the most prolific in the NFL and doesn’t need him. The 49ers on the other hand were able to get Alex Smith to play at a high level in 2011 and if I were Jim Harbaugh I wouldn’t want to mess with that.
