Jaguars interested in Geno Smith?

Peter King of SI.com, mentioned in his weekly Monday Morning Quarterback column that the Jacksonville Jaguars are interested in drafting former West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith with the second overall pick in next month’s draft.

First of all, I can’t remember the last time King wrote something and was even close to being right.  Second, the Jags have way more pressing needs then drafting a quarterback like Smith.

Now if Smith was on the same level as RG3 or Andrew Luck, I’d believe King’s report, but he’s not.  Talent wise, he’s a late first round pick, but he’ll go in the top-10 anyway.
