After a heart breaking Super Bowl loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward will have to go through some more pain this week.
Ward is scheduled to have surgery on his left knee and his left thumb.
Ward’s knee is the one without an ACL and there is some cartilage that must get repaired. Its been an injury that has been bothering him since training camp.
Ward also has a torn ligament in his left thumb that he suffered in the Steelers week two game against the Titans. He wore a protective cast on it the rest of the season.
Rookie wide receiver is also scheduled to have surgery on his broken foot.
