The Philadelphia Eagles have re-signed cornerback Joselio hanson to a two year deal.
The Eagles ended up releasing Hanson because he was due to make $7.6 million over the final three years of his contract.
Hanson at one time was the Eagles nickel corner. But with the addition of Nnamdi Asomugha and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie his role has been reduced and now his salary has as well.
Most people thought Hanson would be a hot commodity on the free agent market, but he likely wasn’t able to get the deal he was looking for and felt it made the most sense to come back to Philly.
