According to Philly.com, the Eagles met with Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley for seven hours on Tuesday.
Bradley left Philadelphia and is now on his way to Jacksonville to meet with the Jaguars.
Still, there was a feeling as Bradley met with the Eagles at Jeffrey Lurie’s Wynwood mansion that something could be finalized by Tuesday and that the owner wouldn’t allow the 46-year old to leave for Jacksonville. It was still unclear if the Eagles even offered Bradley the job.
Many around the NFL considered Bradley the leading candidate with former Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt in second. Whisenhunt met with the Eagles on Monday for a shorter interview, although both parties characterized the interview as very productive.
There was a report yesterday that Bradley was going to be the Eagles’ next head coach, but that was clearly wrong.
