NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced on Friday that the NFL Network will televise 13 regular season games next season.
The NFL Network will expand it’s current eight game Thursday Night Football schedule starting in week 2 and will run through week 15.
“Adding these games to the NFL Network schedule will give more players, teams, and cities the prime time stage,” Goodell said.”Our fans can now get an early start on the NFL weekend in the season’s first 15 weeks.”
The expansion in prime time games will ensure that every NFL team will play at least one prime time game.
