According to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger, Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas appeared on The Wheel House on SNY and indicated that his agent and the Giants have sat down and begun to negotiate a new contract.
Thomas reiterated that they “just Started” to talk about a new deal and it’s “still early” in process at this point.
I really believe that going into this past season, Thomas was the Giants best cornerback. Unfortunately a torn ACL during a preseason game against the Bears, wiped him out for the season.
I could see Thomas signing a one to two year deal in order to prove that he can still play at a high level and then they can get back to the negotiating table for a possible long-term deal.
