Well that didn’t last very long.
The New York Giants have announced that they’ve released veteran quarterback Josh Freeman.
The Giants today released quarterback Josh Freeman, who was signed on April 21. Freeman had previously played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Minnesota Vikings.
The transaction leaves the Giants with the same three quarterbacks they had on the roster for the entire 2013 season – Eli Manning, Ryan Nassib and Curtis Painter.
The Giants quickly filled the opening on their roster when they were awarded offensive lineman Rogers Gaines off waivers from the Chicago Bears.
After failing to get a grasp of the Vikings offense last year and now being released by the Giants, you have to wonder which team will sign Freeman.
