Giants interest in Leach shows concern over Hynoski

Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPNNewYork.com brought up a good point about Henry Hynoski and the Giants interest in Vonta Leach.

The Giants’ interest in Leach might indicate their concern about Henry Hynoski, who underwent surgery to repair his MCL and a chip fracture to the lateral plateau. Hynoski said he hoped to be ready by the start of the season.

There’s no doubting how good Leach, a Pro Bowl fullback, is. He would be a fantastic addition, especially if Hynoski has to start the season on PUP. But Leach likely will cost the Giants more than just a cheap, one-year minimum deal — and the Giants don’t have much cap space. The reported favorite for Leach is Miami.

At the moment, the Giants are trying Bear Pascoe at fullback until Hynoski is recovered.

As optimistic as the Giants seem to be about Hynoski, there has to be some doubt that he won’t be able to play this season if they’re willing to go out and try to sign a pro-bowler like Leach.

Pay the man this offense will blow out with Leach. Wilson is among the fastest players in the league you get leach throwing constant pancake blocks Wilson should rip off huge runs. The Giants O-line had major issues protecting Eli Manning Leach is one of the best Pass Blockers in the league.

The Giants passing game is going to be deadly. Nick & Cruz we all know who they are. Murphy brought in to be the speedy deep threat and Randle had a solid rookie year and should be much better having all those starting Reps in OTA’s. That’s not counting Wilson on Screen passes and our new toy at TE who put up 800+ Yards in Oakland last year.
