New York Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas is coming back from tearing his ACL roughly a year ago. He was forced to leave practice early on Monday and head down to the hospital down in Manhattan to have his knee looked at after it began to swell up.
According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, the extent of Thomas’ injury isn’t know, but head coach Tom Coughlin seemed concerned.
“The extent of the injury is not yet known, but Tom Coughlin definitely sounded worried,” wrote Vacchiano. “When he was asked if there was any news on Thomas he began “Unfortunately there is …” He said Thomas, who apparently got tangled up with WR Domenik Hixon at practice on Sunday, showed up on Monday morning with swelling in his knee.
“The Giants are expecting to announce more on his condition this afternoon.”
As we sit and wait to hear the extent of Thomas’ injury, all we can do is hope it’s not his ACL again.
