According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, Giants’ wide receiver Victor Cruz is still waiting for the Giants to raise their $7 million per-year offer as he sits out this week’s voluntary workouts.
Cruz is seeking a long-term contract extension and wants more than the current $7 million-per-year offer sources say he has on the table from the Giants.
Evan Silva of Rotoworld.com brought up a great point about how the Giants value Cruz.

I think Silva hit it right on the head. If the Giants valued Cruz as a number receiver, they would likely be willing to pay him at least $10 million per-year.
You also have the remember that the Giants need to save some money since they also plan on extending Hakeem Nicks’ contract.
