New York Giants offensive lineman Chris Snee has been slowed down by a lingering hip injury that he had surgically repaired this past offseason.
Snee underwent an MRI on his hip this week, which showed no further damage. The Giants are hoping it settles down and the discomfort goes away.
“The hope is that it calms down and lets him get back to playing to his standard,” a source told Newsday. “If it doesn’t calm down, we are going to have to do something.”
There’s always the chance that Snee may not finish this season and end up on injured reserve.
