Fred Davis suffered a concussion against the Rams
On Monday, Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan confirmed that tight end Fred Davis will be forced to be subjected to NFL concussion protocol after suffering a concussion during Sunday’s loss to the Rams.
Shanahan: Fred Davis should be subjected to NFL concussion protocol after receiving an illegal helmet to helmet hit vs. the Rams.

Davis won’t be allowed to get back on the field until he’s cleared for contact.
