According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, former Saints cornerbac Randall Gay was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with entry or remaining on premises when forbidden, two counts of simple battery, resisting an officer and disturbing the peace by public intoxication.
Gay ended up posting the $1,200 bond and was released at 7:15 am on Thursday.
Kelly said officers were dispatched to the Bulldog Pub, 4335 Perkins Road, at 1:45 a.m. after reports of a man refusing to leave the business and causing a disturbance. When officers arrived, they were told Gay had refused to leave and put his hands on two employees, Kelly said.
When officers attempted to escort Gay from the bar, he began to struggle and resisted attempts to be handcuffed. He eventually was handcuffed and placed under arrest.
