Former Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell believes Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid will resign if he doesn’t run the table by winning the final seven games of the regular season.
“I think he will resign. I don’t think they will fire him,” Rendell said.
Reid has taken a ton of heat from the local fans and sports media and it may lead to him retiring.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Reid resigns and ends up taking a year or two off, then coming back to coach again with a different team.
One thing is for sure, if Reid leaves the Eagles he’ll be in high demand as a potential head coach for many teams around the NFL.
