Foote says critiscm of Woodley broke the code

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Larry Foote can’t imagine that a teammate of his would come out and say that LaMarr Woodley was out of shape and awful this past season.  He believes it may be a coach.

“I mean there have been fights in the locker room, there’s been stuff on the airplane that never got out and that’s the Steeler way,” said Foote on 93.7 The Fan, per SteelersDepot.com. “So I’ll be very surprised if a player really did that and hopefully his name don’t come up, or if he was, he’s one of the players that’s no longer here. I mean, you’re breaking the code when you do that. You’re breaking the code.”

Foote might be right.  Unless of course it’s a player that doesn’t care about his teammates and is willing to throw them udner the bus.
