Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III told reporters that the Eagles knew what they were going to do before they even did it.
“They did a good job of scheming us up. Obviously, we were able to run the ball effectively, but in the passing game, they kind of had us,” Griffin said. “They kind of knew what was coming before it was coming, and like I said, that is disheartening.”
Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox admitted that Griffin was right, they knew what they were going to do before it happened.
“I think I got into a rhythm going into the game. Actually a few of the plays I called them out before they happened,” Cox said. “It all came from studying film and knowing when things were going to happen before they happened.”
The Redskins were clearly out coached after failing to make the proper adjustments.
