Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones made an appearance on 660 WFAN in New York with Marc Malusis to discuss this week’s match up with the Giants.
Jones was asked how Romo was looking in practice after suffering a bruised hand last week against the Eagles.
“The guy (Romo) always looks good,” said Jones. “Just excited for him and can’t wait to get out there Sunday and play our game.”
Jones feels that as a team the Cowboys have learned from the mistakes they’ve made throughout the season.
“Definitely. We’ve had some games that were pretty tough and we just have to keep learning from those, keep pushing on, and it definitely set us up and put us in the right position to keep going and make this playoff run. We just have to focus on every day, getting better, and focus on the opponent and go out there, execute and do what we know how to do, play Cowboy football.”
Jones explained what it will take to beat the Giants.
“Definitely we need to be on the same page. Everybody, all 11 guys on the same page. That’s how we need to do it. I think we can definitely make a difference and pull this game out.”
Jones mentioned how sweet it would be to beat the Giants in order to get to the playoffs.
“Definitely. It’s always a great game, the Giants-Cowboys. The Giants beat us and to go into someone’s backyard and win the ball game would definitely make it more sweet. And with the added bonus of a division championship on the line it just makes it even better.”
