Falcons’ William Moore arrested for battery

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Falcons’ safety William Moore was arrested and charged with simple battery on Thursday.

The Falcons signed Moore to a five-year $30 million contract this offseason.  They’ve released a statement regarding his arrest.

 “We are aware of the situation involving William Moore and are in the process of gathering more information,” a Falcons spokesperson said in a statement released to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Because this is now a legal matter, the club will have no further comment at this time.”
