Former San Francisco 49ers running back Roger Craig believes that head coach Jim Harbaugh is building a dynasty right before his eyes.
“I see these guys doing some wonderful things this decade — I think Jim (Harbaugh) will do great job of creating another dynasty and winning some Super Bowls,” Craig told the San Francisco Chronicle. “I foresee us winning some Super Bowls in the next decade, if not this year then in the years ahead. Wherever he goes, he wins. He has the secret sauce, and I’m loving his flavor.”
Craig believes the way Harbaugh runs is team, is the reason he’s so successful.
“I just saw the structure, the attitude, how the team was so organized,” Craig said. “Jim Harbaugh is an amazing guy, an innovator, amazing coach, a leader. When you get players to buy into your system the way he has, you’re going to have success.”
Craig believes that this year’s 49er team has created it’s own legacy already.
“They’re creating their own legacy, it’s fair to let them live their own legacy and not compare them to us. They did some special things this year. I was a fan of the team very early in the seson. I could tell they were a dangerous team.”
Craig has turned into a big Harbaugh Fan.
“The thing I liked about that game Saturday, before the game even started Jim brought the team to the middle of the field. All I know was I had goose bumps all over my body, just imagining what was said in the huddle before the game. They’re in the center of the field, jumping up and down. … I have a towel with the saying, “Who’s got it better than us? Nobody!” I have it in my office and I look at it every day. I’ll be there Sunday. I’m a huge fan of the 49ers, Jed York, Harbaugh. I think he’s the right guy. It’s only going to get better.”
