ESPN’s Rob Parker clearly hasn’t learned anything from RG3 comments

ESPN’s Rob Parker made an appearance on a show called Flash Point that airs in Detroit.

Parker tried to explain his reasoning behind questioning if Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is “a cornball brother.”

After watching the video of Parker, it’s obvious to me that his apology wasn’t sincere.

“It was never about condemning the young man … it was more about concerns, not condemning.”

It was a conversation that’s had in the black community when athletes or famous entertainers or whatever push away from their people … you saw it from OJ Simpson, “well I’m not black, I’m OJ.”

“I wasn’t saying that he wasn’t black enough. When people say that, it’s just not true. I was saying these are the conversations that take place, once a guy pushes away …”

With Parker still trying to explain himself, it’s clear that he still doesn’t see what he did wrong.
