According to Lindsay H. Jones of the Denver Post, Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning was seen working out at a local Denver area high school with some of his new teammates.
Manning took snaps from center J.D. Walton and threw passes to wide receiver Eric Decker and tight end Julius Thomas.
“Just some drill work, talking through stuff, so he gets familiar with the verbage and the calls,” Decker said. “The biggest thing is he wanted to get a feel for us, and a feel for being under center.”
Due to the restrictions of the new CBA, players aren’t allowed to work out at their respective team facilities until mid-april, so Manning was forced to work out with his teammates at high school.
“He looked real good, though he probably won’t admit that he’s feeling good or feeling back to the way he wants to be,” Decker said.Follow PFZ on Twitter @ProFootballZone
