Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told the Baltimore Sun that linebacker Elvis Dumervil has already emerged as a leader even though he just joined the Ravens this offseason.
“It seems like Elvis has made the transition,” Harbaugh said. “He has been here every day. He hasn’t missed one thing since he’s been here. I feel like he’s emerging as a leader for our football team. He has had no problem learning the defense. …
“He’s done a great job. He’s a smart player. He likes football. He’s done a good job at it, so he’s done a good job.”
Dumervil was a big pick up this offseason. He’s a big upgrade over the linebackers the Ravens lost this offseason in free agency.
