Ed Reed upset with media, says he likely won’t be going to New England

There have been many reports that Ravens safety Ed Reed could leave Baltimore this offseason and sign with the Patriots.

Reed is upset with the media because he says his quotes were taken out of context and that he likely won’t be in New England next season.

“The bad part about this is that you all ask the question, but don’t write down everything that someone says,” Reed told reporters on Thursday. “People only get a part of what the comment was. I don’t have to say much about that. My heart is in Baltimore. The question is, ‘Would I play for Bill Belicheck?’ Yes. What football player wouldn’t play for Coach Belicheck? Will I be in New England? Most likely not. It’s just terrible that people get half of the story.”

Reed needs to understand that by him saying he’d love to play for Belichick, he’s pretty much saying that he would also like the play for the Patriots.
